Raven

My name is Raven. 30 year old metal maiden born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. Starting out very young my earliest metal memories were of Metallica, Megadeth, Anthrax, Sepultura and bands of the like. As I grew older I went through many different "phases" with my musical interests. Through it all I never lost my love for music with elements of aggression, energy, speed, and an overall F.U. attitude towards what the mainstream tells you what real music should be. My current musical tastes range from very gloomy symphonies to alternative rock to goth/industrial to traditional metal to thrash all the way to death and black metal. I like to keep variety but my true love is metal...metal...metal.

I’m Raven 30 year old metal maiden born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. Started young with bands like Metallica, Megadeth, Anthrax, Sepultura etc…(thanks to two older brothers). Through the years I strayed to other genres but never fell out of love with metal. Somewhere in my mid 20’s metal sucked me in completely. Started with more common mainstreamy stuff but soon found myself consumed in the more obscure underground extreme sound. Depending on my mood and what form of release I need (usually pissed off and angry :P )I’ll vary between traditional metal to gothic/symphonic metal to epic metal to thrash, death, and black metal. One moment it may be Lacuna Coil and the next its Behemoth. I don’t care for the what really is metal arguments. If it has a heaviness and real power to the listener who enjoys it than its metal \m/
